In this concert, we will explore two remarkable trios: Brahms’ Clarinet Trio, a masterpiece known for its emotional depth and intricate dialogue between instruments, and Glinka’s Trio Pathetique, a passionate work that contrasts beautifully with Brahms’ richness. Renowned clarinetist Spyros Mourikis, pianists Elena Nikolaidi and Magda Nikolaidou, and cellist Christophor Miroshnikov will bring these works to life with their exceptional artistry, with Magda Nikolaidou also performing solo piano pieces by Rachmaninov during the evening.
Additionally, the young and gifted cellist Era Chatzari, 1st prize winner of the Muse Classics International Music Competition in 2024, will have the opportunity to showcase her talent in a special solo performance. Together, this diverse group of musicians will offer a balanced and engaging evening of chamber music, bringing you some of the most beautiful melodies from Romantic period masterpieces.
