An die Musik: In Celebration of Music
The opening concert featured captivating performances by pianists Dora Bakopoulos and Popi Malapani, violinist Nikos Mandylas, and cellist Christophor Miroshnikov. The program included Grieg’s Violin Sonata No. 3, Schumann’s Kinderszenen, Shostakovich’s Cello Sonata, and other treasures.

From Glinka to Poulenc: Dialogues with the Clarinet
The second Museuphoria Nights concert celebrated the clarinet’s versatility, journeying from Poulenc’s Sonata back in time to Glinka’s Trio Pathétique. Spyros Mourikis, Chrysa Grenda, Magda Nikolaidou, and Christophor Miroshnikov delivered exceptional performances, while Sofoklis Sapounas shared insights on the composers and their works. The evening also featured a special appearance by cellist Era Chantzari, 1st prize winner of the 20th Muse Classics International Music Competition, accompanied by Natalia Miroshnikova.

Harmonic Variety: The Tone of Next Season



The final concert of Museuphoria Nights’ first year opened with Leonidas Kanaris’s Happy Birthday Variations for string quartet, celebrating the “birth” of the concert series. Swiss violinists Natasha Korsakova and Manrico Padovani, violist Krystalia Gaitanou, cellist Christophor Miroshnikov, and bassist Angelos Repapis performed duets spanning from the Baroque to contemporary eras. The grand finale featured pianist Natalia Miroshnikova in Glinka’s Grand Sextet, marking its Greek premiere and a thrilling close to Museuphoria Nights.
