Biography
Natalia Miroshnikova has established a reputation as a “powerful performer” and a “sensitive ensemble partner,” having appeared in concerts around the world. She has performed as a soloist with symphony and chamber orchestras and in chamber music recitals alongside various instrumentalists in cities across Russia, the Baltic Republics, Romania, Israel, Arab countries, Germany, Switzerland, and the United States. Her recordings include work for the Third Program of ERA (Hellenic Radio) and Moldavian Radio and TV.
Her dedication to music education is evident in her co-authorship (with her husband Alexis Miroshnikov) of “The Dictionary of Musical Terms” (2000) and “The Pianist’s Technique” (2001).
Starting piano lessons at age six, Natalia was soon accepted into the studio of Professor Vladimir Natanson at the Central Special Music School of the Tchaikovsky Moscow Conservatory. She earned her Master of Music degree studying with Professor Alexis Miroshnikov at the National Music Academy in Moldova and later completed postgraduate studies at the Tchaikovsky Moscow Conservatory under Professor Aleksei Zibtzev.
During her student years, Natalia won several national music competitions, earning accolades such as “best accompanist” and “best participant in chamber music ensembles.” She has collaborated with distinguished musicians worldwide, including Ghena Dimitrova, Francis Orval, Elena Kelessidi, Christophoros Stamboglis, and Sergey Kravchenko.
