Biography
Eleni Nikolaidi, a pianist with a dynamic presence in the Greek music scene, was born in Heraklion, Crete. She has collaborated with notable ensembles such as the Athens Municipality Symphony Orchestra and the Symphony Orchestra of the Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation (ERT). As a frequent collaborator with Camerata Europea and the Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra of Athens, she has participated in performances at esteemed venues and festivals both in Athens and across Greece, showcasing her passion for chamber music.
Alongside her performing career, Nikolaidi is deeply committed to music education. She teaches piano at the Philippos Nakas Conservatory and provides accompaniment for string, wind, and percussion instruments, as well as classical voice, at the Philippos Nakas Conservatory, the National Conservatory, and the Athens Conservatory.
Nikolaidi's academic achievements reflect her dedication to her craft. She earned a Piano Diploma with Distinction, First Prize, and an Award for Outstanding Achievement from the National Conservatory of Athens, studying under M. Lamprinoudi. She also holds a Fugue Degree with Distinction (class of P. Koukos) and received a Special Honor in Chamber Music (class of Sp. Stergiou). In addition, she is a graduate of the University of Athens, where she specialized in Art History through the Department of History and Archaeology.
