Fantasia for 2 violins “Trittico Padovani-Korsakova”, Op. 19 by Stefano Mongiusti is a captivating composition dedicated to the renowned violinists Manrico Padovani and Natasha Korsakova. The piece unfolds in three evocative movements: Cantico dell’alba (Song of the Dawn), Elegia al tramonto (Elegy at Sunset), and Idillio a tarda sera (Idyll Late in the Evening). Its Italian debut took place on April 30, 2017, at the Accademia di Musica in Porto Ceresio, and it was later performed at the prestigious Lucca Classica Music Festival on May 6, 2017.

The Greek Premiere of this charming work occurred on January 12, 2025, at the Parnassos Concert Hall during the final concert of the first cycle of Museuphoria Nights. The performance was delivered by the dedicatees themselves, Manrico Padovani and Natasha Korsakova, bringing this beautiful composition to Greek audiences for the first time.
